ITEM OF INTEREST - 2008 Headlines & Headliners

The New York Times hosted the Headlines & Headliners, the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association's 13th Annual New York Benefit, on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 at the beautiful TimesCenter.

The evening began at 7:00 PM with a networking reception, which brought together over 400 media movers and shakers hailing from New York and beyond. Funds raised directly support the national organization.

Some of the brightest names in journalism and entertainment attended, including Meredith Vieira, Co-Host, The Today Show; Jack Mackenroth, "Project Runway"; Bill Keller, Executive Editor, The New York Times; and Matt Lauer, Co-Host, The Today Show.
